Get Rid Of Warts For Good With Skincerity

Warts and cold sores are often unsightly and can be unpleasant and sometimes painful to deal with. Both can be embarrassing for some if it is located around the mouth, lips and tongue.

And, despite what some may have believed as children, toads don’t cause warts, but they are the result of a severe infection in your skin.

What causes warts?

A common cause of warts is a virus that shares a family tree with the HPV (human papillomavirus) virus. Usually, the virus enters through a cut or opening in the skin. Once an infection sets into the outer layer of the skin, called the epidermis, it causes the cells to grow rapidly, which creates a wart.

Are warts contagious?

Yes, all types of warts are considered contagious and can spread through close skin contact. So, be careful not to touch warts as they can quickly spread from person to person.

Types of warts?

It may come as a surprise, but different types of warts grow in specific areas of the body, but they are all the effect of an HPV strain infection in the outer layer of your skin.

Here’s some insight into different wart types and where they develop:

Common warts (verruca vulgaris)

These are small, raised areas of the skin that usually grow round in shape with a rough surface similar to a cauliflower. These warts often occur on the elbows, hands and knees.

Plane or flat warts

Plane or flat warts are usually yellow, group together, spread quickly, and occur on the face and hands. Children frequently develop these warts because they spread them during close contact while playing. Or when picking and scratching the area of infection.

Plantar warts

Plantar warts form on the sole, heel or toes of the feet and can cause discomfort or even pain when you walk. The wart is pushed into your skin by your body mass, meaning the wart often isn’t raised and looks like a white patch with tiny spots or a spot in the centre.

Filiform warts

These are long, thin warts that usually appear on the ends of eyelids, near your armpits or around your neck.

Mosaic warts

Most commonly found on your hands and feet, mosaic warts grow in clusters, similar to a mosaic pattern.

Subungual or periungual warts

The subungual or periungual wart is the type of wart that forms around or under your cuticle area.

Mucosal warts

Mucosal warts appear on the lips, inside the cheeks and the nose. These warts can also form in your airways and on your genital areas.

Can I cut off a wart?

It’s best not to cut a wart. Although it may not feel painful, the cut increases the likelihood of the HPV virus spreading onto other areas of your skin or body. It’s always best to seek medical attention or assistance if you wish to remove a wart. However, we understand that wart removal is often an uncomfortable procedure and cold sores if left untreated can become increasingly problematic. That’s why we recommend our clients use wart removal treatments and natural remedies before warts spread or become a painful part of your life.

Can you dissolve warts naturally?

Yes! You can dissolve warts using natural ingredients. With acetic acids, like vinegar, you can dissolve warts naturally at home with a bit of patience and dedication.

What is a natural solution for warts?

To remove warts at home using vinegar, you must create a solution of two parts apple cider vinegar to one part water. Then use a cotton ball and soak it in the solution. Apply it directly to the wart. It will need to stay there overnight, so ensure you bandage or tape it in place. Finally, repeat this process every night until the wart is gone.

We are sure everyone can agree warts are ugly, very contagious and highly persistent if not treated properly. They can also prevent you from leading a comfortable and confident life if they form on the soles of your feet or your face.
